for ten years. Groups and individuals from diverse backgrounds,
faiths and cultures use SOH as a place of prayer and reflection. Our
mission is to provide a place for people to meet God in their own
way. We believe the words of St. Thomas Aquinas: 'Sanctify the
individual and society itself will be sanctified.' ”

Patrick’s Church in Western Kansas City, KS; St. Ann’s Church in

ecumenical organization of Pastors, Intercessors and Liturgical
Leaders all praying together to build the unity of Churches in the
metro area and to bring the two Kansas Cities closer to Christ.
Many friendships and outreach programs are developing area wide,
because of this bonding in prayer and fellowship."
Father has
been doing healing Masses for the Charismatic Renewal, ever since he
was at St. Ann’s in Prairie Village. He says, "I was baptized in the
Holy Spirit shortly after my ordination to priesthood, in the same
building which I am now living. I have been practicing Centering
Prayer and I have also given talks on contemplative
prayer."
Father Dennis is
working on improving his ability to speak and celebrate the Sacraments
in Spanish.
"I enjoy singing
and spending quiet moments with the Lord. My best investment is in
the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the
friendships I have developed by God’s grace over my lifetime."
