At Supper you said:
"Do this in memory of me."
But Lord, which "this" is meant in plea?
In word and song to praise and thank
in bond with this distinguished rank?
Attend this priest who in your stead
bids Spirit bake this saving bread?
As guests at this grand feast believe
that we become what we receive?
"All that and this embraced by plea
if gift to
Father thou would be:
Give thou
thee as I give me."
