| “The first time my elderly mother
met her was on Christmas when we walked into the chapel. Sister spied her
and immediately came over, gave her a program, took her by the arm and said,
“Come sit with me.” After mass, she took mom on the elevator and told her,
“It might jump, but don’t worry. They tell me as long as you ride on here
with me you’ll be safe.” Then she took mom into breakfast and ate with her. Anyone would have thought they had been girlfriends for years.” |
