Home “What a blessing it was to
have known her!” |
|
Remembering Sister Eugenia... |
| “I remember her great love,
patience, and gentleness. She was deeply sincere. When she came
to our school it was her first time teaching in a predominately black
school. She fell in love with those kids.” |
“If someone would
say “I don’t know why I’m here,” she’d say, “You were put here to love.
So spread God’s love!” |
“When she and I would go to mass at
St. Peter’s, she’d always want to stop at Osco and buy some little thing she
needed. Grooming was important to her.” |
|

|
|
“She wasn’t afraid to tell you what
you were doing wrong. She just did it in such a way that people listened to
her without getting offended.” |
“So many people came searching for her over the years.
So many former students told how she had touched them with her gentleness
and love." |
“She always beat me to the
chapel in the morning. No matter how early I got up, she would always be
there already.” |
|
“She was so powerful with her prayers.
At a healing mass I remember she was praying with people and they were
resting in the spirit all over the place.”
