Prayer Times
-Mass
in the Chapel on Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30am Breakfast is served on
Thursdays. Please come and join us.
-Prayer
Group on Tuesdays from 10-11:30am. We have updates about Sanctuary of
Hope; prayer requests are read; there are different types of prayer
formats, such as meditations, spiritual readings and centering prayer. We try to have a different leader each week for the prayer
group. You are always
welcome.
-Centering
Prayer Group meets every Wednesday at 7:00pm.
-Morning
Prayer is Tuesday through Thursday at 7am. in the Chapel, Fridays at
7:20am. and is open to
all.
-Evening
Prayer is Tuesday through Friday at 5pm. in the Chapel and is open to
all.
-If
you have any special prayer requests, please call us and we will include
your request in our Tuesday Prayer Group and in our daily prayers.

Other
Opportunities for Involvement
-Associates
Meeting is the 4th Saturday of the month from 10am. until Noon.
We sometimes have a guest speaker, take a field trip or have a
spiritual program. Everyone is welcome to attend; do bring a friend. We can always use ideas for this meeting.
The
Associates are a community of about 45 people who commit themselves for
one year to pray for the mission of Sanctuary of Hope and to donate time, talent, or
financial support. They
chair several committees and, in general, are the support systems that
help run Sanctuary of Hope. We have a special ceremony during the Associates' meetings to
commission new Associates and to re-commission existing Associates. For

-Work
Day is the 2nd Saturday of the month from 8am. until
1 pm. with lunch
served. We have both indoor
and outdoor projects, large and small.
Join us to help with the ongoing work and meet our other
volunteers.
-Pastoral
Council Meeting is the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7-8:30 pm. Board
of Trustees, Staff Members and Committee Heads make reports of
activities at Sanctuary of Hope. There are no meetings in July or
August. Anyone may attend.

Sanctuary
of Hope also offers other Prayer Support Groups:
Healing
Retreats for those with bi-polar illness and those with depression-2
healing retreats each year. Check our website or newsletter for details.
Prayer
Share Group for those affected by HIV-AIDS meets bi-monthly, on the 2nd Thursday at 7 pm.
Recovery
Plus Prayer Group for those recovering from addictions-4th Tuesday
at 7 pm.

General
Schedule
We
are closed on Mondays for community and personal time for the Live-ins,
there is, however, a receptionist on duty during the morning hours of 8-12am to answer the phones.
We
are open year round both private and group retreats.
When
visiting Sanctuary of Hope, please use the front door.
All other doors are locked except when there is Mass or the
Prayer or Associate Groups, Work Day and other special occasions.
You
may come at any time to do volunteer work.
Please call first, however, to see when you are needed.
Please note our bulletin board in the hallway.
Under the bulletin board is a table on which lies the Volunteer
Sign-In Clip Board. Any
time you do volunteer work, please sign your name, hours and date.
We need this to obtain grant monies; it is also nice to see,
through the years, how much donated work has been done to make Sanctuary
of Hope a Retreat and Prayer Center.
We
are situated on 32 acres of lush greenery with walking trails in wooded
areas. Benches are
available on the trails for quiet time and contemplation.
As
a Retreat Center, we have 23 guestrooms with 41 spaces available for
overnight stays. Most of
the rooms are double occupancy. In addition there is a four
bedroom apartment available on 2nd floor which has a living area,
kitchen and bathroom.
We
have a quarterly Newsletter called 'Words of Hope" that we send to
over 2,300 people, including people in other countries.
