Sanctuary of Hope is
not only a place, but a community of love. The real thrust of
Sanctuary of Hope is to help each
person know, without a doubt, that God is with them. Once one realizes in
one's heart that
they belong to God, then for them all things are possible.
Sanctuary of Hope is a contemplative, ecumenical
community
committed to knowing, loving, and serving God, each other, and those in
need. |

Our mission statement is taken from the Prophet Micah:
"This is
what God asks of you, only this:
to act justly,
to love tenderly,
and to
walk humbly with your God." (Micah 6:8). |
St. Thomas Aquinas said:
"Sanctify yourself and the society will be
sanctified."
This is the wisdom of God that leads Sanctuary of Hope
toward
this most important ministry of retreat, contemplation and
prayer. |
